I just saw this pinterest and it looks really good! Thanks
Found this on Pinterest and can't wait to try it this morning. Thanks!
just made them... mine didn't turn out as pretty as yours but they still look good!
I also found these on Pinterest. Think I'll be making these for our work tailgating party tomorrow!
Found your recipe on Pinterest too. can't wait to make these one morning for breakfast. thank you for sharing.
Thanks for stopping by my little blog! Hope you tried and enjoyed these!
Are you should it is only 4 oz of cream cheese and not 8? Packages of cream cheese usually come in 8 oz.
Yes, I'm sure. I make this recipe all the time, and I use 4oz. If you used an entire block of cream cheese you would end up with a TON of leftover filling that would go to waste.
I actually did end up with a good amount leftover... what could I use it with?
You could use the leftover cream cheese mixture in strawberry cream tarts: http://sorumblyinmytumbly.blogspot.com/2011/06/strawberry-cream-tarts.htmlOr, if you used 8oz of cream cheese, you could swirl it around in some brownie mix and make marbled cheesecake brownies: http://sorumblyinmytumbly.blogspot.com/2010/10/marbled-brownies.html
Can you make these ahead of time? And if so, how should they be stored? I can't wait to make them!!
Deb,I really wouldn't recommend making them ahead of time. Crescent rolls aren't great after they go cold. What you could do though is make the cream cheese mixture and the jam ahead of time and store them in an airtight container in the fridge. And when you're ready to bake, put them all together. Putting them together to bake really only takes about 5 minutes. I hope you enjoy!
Awesome, thank you so much for your quick reply! You just saved me from a disaster lol!
Do you mean granulated sugar or powdered sugar when you say "white sugar"? Thanks
Granulated. Thanks, I didn't realize I had written it out like that.
These were really good!! We had them for brunch today and they did not disappoint!! Thank you!!
So glad they turned out well for you! Thanks for visiting!
Made mine with blackberry jam and they were awesome thanks for the recipe.
So glad you liked them, thanks for visiting!
ooh this looks so good! I landed here via pinterest and am going to love snooping around, I think... :)
Thanks for visiting, Amanda!
very yummy and easy. wouldn't change a thing about it.
Question. I don't have a paddle attachment for my mixer (I only have a lowly hand mixer, still saving for a stand mixer! lol) would I just use the regular beater blades the same way? I was going to ask if the lemon juice would ruin the cream cheese, but clearly not, because other people have tried it to rather good result, from what I have read. :)
Oh yes, a hand mixer will work perfectly fine. :) And the lemon juice gives the cream cheese a subtle, excellent flavor. Thanks for visiting!
I have made this without the chicken and I difinitely will try your version thanks
This stuff is so good!!! Fixed it for our Biker Church the other night and they lapped it up!! VERY GOOD and VERY EASY!!!
So glad you enjoyed them, thank you for the comment and for visiting!
I made your sauce to go inside of homemade croissants. Was really good. Making croissants is very easy, using the youtube video, all about croissants.
Can you use jar strawberry jam instead of homemade?
Hi Anonymous- yes, store bought jam will work just fine.
Hi I just made these this morning. I did use store bought jam since I don't know how to make home made jams (yet ! I do want to learn) they were very easy and quick to make and delicious ! A little sweet but still YUMMY ! Thanks for sharing !!
Lynn- so glad you liked them! Thanks for visiting!
