I made this and added some coconut. i used two different types of choc chips( dark and milk). It is not bad. I would prefer it to be more moist than it was. maybe if i make again i will add more milk?
Adding coconut may have dried it out a bit. Try adding half a cup of yogurt or sour cream, and taking a few minutes off the baking time. Most of the time it is overbaking that is the culprit when baked goods come out dry- remember: even if they are a bit underdone when they first come out of the oven, they will continue to bake in the hot pan after you pull them out, and since everybody's ovens are different, baking times are always approximate.
