  9. These puppies are sitting in the freezer awaiting the deep fryer and I can't wait. However I would recommend finer crumbs for the second coating. It makes sure that all the cracks are filled and prevents the need for a second coating if you are in a time crunch.

  10. This is a very popular dish in Hawaii as well, but instead of cornflakes or CTC, we use cinnamon vanilla bread molded around the ice cream ball and frozen. You still get the delicious crunch from frying, but you also get a nice semi-soft bread surrounding layer around the ice cream. MMMMM! Of all the foods I miss about home, this takes the cake. I'd always order this at the County Fair in Maui. :) My once a year treat! Thanks for sharing your recipe. We'll have to try this one out, as my husband and I love Cinnamon Toast Crunch!

I dont usually write reviews, but this one I had to.I'm 17 and do all the cooking and baking in the house.My 7 year old niece is visiting, and as soon as she took one bite she turned to be excitedly and screamed "this is better than Mexico" (where we had it in january). It was amazing.Thank you soo much and sorry for the long review!
