  7. Are you should it is only 4 oz of cream cheese and not 8? Packages of cream cheese usually come in 8 oz.

  8. Yes, I'm sure. I make this recipe all the time, and I use 4oz. If you used an entire block of cream cheese you would end up with a TON of leftover filling that would go to waste.

  9. I actually did end up with a good amount leftover... what could I use it with?

You could use the leftover cream cheese mixture in strawberry cream tarts:

Or, if you used 8oz of cream cheese, you could swirl it around in some brownie mix and make marbled cheesecake brownies:

  11. Can you make these ahead of time? And if so, how should they be stored? I can't wait to make them!!

  12. Deb,
I really wouldn't recommend making them ahead of time. Crescent rolls aren't great after they go cold. What you could do though is make the cream cheese mixture and the jam ahead of time and store them in an airtight container in the fridge. And when you're ready to bake, put them all together. Putting them together to bake really only takes about 5 minutes. I hope you enjoy!

  14. Do you mean granulated sugar or powdered sugar when you say "white sugar"?

  24. Question. I don't have a paddle attachment for my mixer (I only have a lowly hand mixer, still saving for a stand mixer! lol) would I just use the regular beater blades the same way? I was going to ask if the lemon juice would ruin the cream cheese, but clearly not, because other people have tried it to rather good result, from what I have read. :)

  25. Oh yes, a hand mixer will work perfectly fine. :) And the lemon juice gives the cream cheese a subtle, excellent flavor. Thanks for visiting!

  29. I made your sauce to go inside of homemade croissants. Was really good. Making croissants is very easy, using the youtube video, all about croissants.
